Dr. Martin EasonScience Director
Dr. Martin Eason is a physician, attorney, educator, and inventor, who holds patents for a surgical simulator, medical sterilizer, and jet engine ignition system.
He has published numerous articles on the subject of simulation in medical education and his fields of expertise and interests include anesthesiology, pain management, addiction medicine, simulation, and engineering. Dr. Eason was formerly the Associate Chief of Staff for education at a Veterans Affairs medical center, and an Associate Professor in the departments of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, surgery, and obstetrics and gynecology, at the James Quillen College of Medicine. He currently serves as a fellow on a committee in the United States House of Representatives.
